We source full-grain, vegetable-tanned hides from family-run tanneries that steep each skin in organic tree bark and natural liquors for over forty days. This slow conditioning leaves the natural grain intact, giving each piece a supple temper that softens and patinas with every year you carry it.
At our workshop benches, every panel is hand-bevelled, waxed, and bound using twin-needle saddle stitches. Rather than hiding the material under synthetic lacquers, we burnish raw edges with pure beeswax, preserving the quiet honesty of natural leather.
